Its a 16TGS with power steering, bespoke dark grey upholstered sports seats and black dashboard ala GTI, baby walker rear spoiler again from a GTi etc. Body colour painted bumpers with stainless inserts and the wider side moulding/rubbing strips from a TZS/16v again body coloured, different rear badges, inside it also has a 16v gearknob, and eletrically operated passenger mirror too.

A nice car to own, and quite rare, the metallic gold colour was only available on the Athena and in my opinion is very nice.

BTW did you know that "Smoggies" are a local term of endearment for chaps from Middlesbrough?

The seller has got back to me after sale ended.He is now saying it will need work on the inner wings? £600 sounds alot for a car needing this kind of work to me?Richard.

It is after all a 1.6 petrol, in need of work, sounds like £100 worth to me.

I havnt replied to him.He says his camera is knackered so no pictures available? He cant have had any interest in the advert as it was £600 buy it now without any offers .If he put it on with a low starting price i might have a go as i like special editions but i was expecting his response to say it was split mint inside/outside and with no rusty or oily bits etc at that money!
Ive just got a 19TGD auto Meteor for a ton from a guy i met at the Wetherby CCC meet and he,s throwing in all the spares that didnt sell.He is well aware that it would make more over the weigh bridge but prefers it goes to an enthusiast .Ive PM,d the guy selling the 14TGE as spares or repairs but he wants stupid money for that.I just hate to see these fantastic cars getting crushed as there value in metal exceeds the value as a car at the moment but i definitely think interest in Bx is growing and wont be that long till all the spares or repairs cars have all gone and values start to rise.
