Bloody hell, if that's what he calls fortunate I'd hate to see what he calls bad luck

Just had to register and log in after reading your post. I'm the seller of the car referred to in the first post.

I bought the BX five years ago for £50 on Ebay and have used it for all that time daily, sold and gone as you can see for £320.

The Xantia I bought for £205 as a 'lost keys' car, it's a 2001Y 2.0 litre HDI 110 Forte and it's fabulous.

Keys made for it at my place by a mobile locksmith from Newport called 'Jock the Lock', £75 for the main key and a spare.

Fortunate, you bet! Gibbo.

Ps. My lastt five cars have been BXs.

Don't worry... We don't all hate Xantias.

I wouldn't say no to an Activa... Or a V6, but my bank manager might disagree

An Activa setup in a 24v XM - that'd keep me happy :)

Like most ex BX owners I've got a fair few parts, new and used lying about here, I'll be having a sort out and Ebaying them soon but if there's anything anybody needs you can ask me, I won't bite.

I've also got a pile of new old stock stuff for a variety of Citroen models that I bought as a job lot.

Gibbo.

Got an electric fuel pump for a 1991 BX GTi? Or the thick oil breather hose (the one that runs from the back of the filler cap under the inlet manifold). Or a BX GTi radiator?

(BTW I would secretly like a Xantia V6 Exclusive in green)...

Sorry pal all the BX stuff I've got is for diesels other than the bits that will fit both diesel and petrol, like lamps, brake calipers and such. Gibbo.

Grey stereo flap? And what XM bits have you got? :)

I'm sorting through the pile ray but there isn't much XM stuff it's mostly for the later C1, C2, C3, C5, C8, Relay, Xsara, Synergie, Berlingo. Etc.

All I've found for the XM so far is a water outlet gasket, an air con dowel pin, plastic nuts for clutch pedal control cable and a ring seal for manual geabox diff housing.

The grey stero flap was broken and went to the tip . Gibbo.

I'm trying to make up a list of all the new stuff, I'll post it on here before I stick it on Ebay.
