Well. that washing line has a steel core, and as such can be used as a radio aerial.

So instead of "waving the drawers" it "draws the waves".

Isn't that the later clutch lever - with the strengthening bar that gets in the way of one of the starter motor bolts ?

So instead of "waving the drawers" it "draws the waves".

Reminded me of the difference between a street salesman and a dachshund...

Spot on. it's an early one till I welded on a short length of 10mm studding.
So it's still an early one, but stronger now...

Only takes a couple of minutes to remove the lever though...

I like the fact that if Citroën find a problem they do the required mods.

When I first got my present BX about 4 years ago the clutch needed regular adjustment so I got quite familiar with that lever - the clutch was on the way out and is now replaced. But last week I had to replace the starter motor which is when I found the strengthening bar in the way.

Only takes a couple of minutes to remove the lever though...

...and you don't even have to loosen the adjustment so it goes back without needing to tweek
