Finally taken delivery of some more toys.
Italian reg and spec,1988 Bx16RS estate.Even though its an Rs spec it doesnt have central locking or electric windows but its in cracking condition.
Also rescued from certain death,1992 BX19TGD Auto Meteor.Needs some fettling but i think she,s saveable and a lovely colour with a mint interior.
I got chatting to a great fella at Wetherby called Peter.He was selling various Bx parts from the back of his Berlingo and he mentioned this Diesel automatic that if nobody wanted,was going to go to the crusher.Well what was i to do?Ive replaced the headlamps,indicators and Grill as they were either missing or knackered and swapped 1 rear lamp as it had 1 gren tint and 1 smoked so now has 2 smoked as i cant find a n/s/r green tint lamp as yet.Bigger problems loom however as she has sprung a leak(suspect octopus) so will need surgery and also rear arm bearings look knock kneed.
Final new member to the fleet is a 1985 Visa 11RE.Found on www.preloved.co.uk.
It has been stored for 20 years after a bereavement but is absolutely solid but to do the job right does need a respray but never been welded or messed about with.
I hope to be going to the National in the Italian Bx but we will see.
