solenoid and wiper wash

my K reg bx txd 1.9 was stood for 2 yrs , it started fine twice then nothing i gave the solenoid a real whacking with a crowbar and that released it , i am asking if you think it will be ok now or should i give it some tlc , it has started 5 times now with no problems . the other thing i need to sort out is the washer , water comes out the pipe up to the arrangement on the wiper but the tiny holes on the pipe that is wrapped around the wiper must be blocked , does anyone have any tips re that please . cheers folks Bill

PS can you recommend a mail order parts dealer , i need a hydraulic pump belt , flexi hoses [front] and break discs .

You can get the spray bar new from Citroen still I think and some motor factors. You could try unblocking the holes with a pin and then blow it through with an airline.

Have you checked the little in-line filter too? For the future, I've learnt that putting plenty of screen-wash into the washer bottles keeps things from gooing up a bit. Also stops you from catching Legionnaires Disease in your car!
