BX Club members' cars poll

A quick experiment to see if it's practical to start a record of member's on-the-road BXs...

Just 'vote' for the model that's most appropriate to describe your BX. Trouble is, if you have more than one, a Tim for instance does, you'll have to post a message listing the fleet. Once we have some results in, a register can be started ans another thread and that can be updated as and when.

I would also appreciate a post saying whether the BX you have is a hatch or estate.

Just a thought. Let's see how it goes...

(This on it's own is a flawed idea: but hopefully it'll start a 'raising of hands' so we can give a good idea of just how many BXs are cared for by club members)...

Oh, and if (as is probably the case) got model designations all wrong please correct me!

There's nothing to stop people (like Tim!) voting more than once so that should work. You appear to have missed off some models though (quite apart from the 1.9TZD Turbo!) such as the 1.9 TGD/TZD (and I assume that an owner with the earlier 'R' or 'TR' trim levels would just add it to the appropriate engine size option - makes sense).

Are multiple fields too complex ? ...

One for 'year' - 86,92 etc...

One for model (including 19 TGD please )

One for saloon / estate / trim levels

One for 'condition' - sorned, on-the-road, well-fettled, concourse etc

Yes....
Unfortunately the poll option is just a single choice, so we could list every model individually, but life's too short! If we keep it to just engine type that keeps it simple (and avoids the embarrassment for those with low spec models )
I'll have a crack at editing the options, shout out for any misses/mistakes.

EDIT - I've split up the trim levels slightly, any special editions (or specials in my case!) should probably go in the category they are based on.

You could also distinguish between a GTi 16V and a 16V.

I have a 1988 Phase 1, so it's on the log book as a 1.9 Gti 16V where as the later ones were just 16V

I will compile a list based upon the results of this poll, but add more detail (RP number, registration date, Mk. 1 or 2, Ph. 1 or 2, Hatch, Estate, LHD etc) using information supplied in accompanying posts for the BX Club register... So feel free to support your 'vote' with lots more info.

I can't register mine, as there doesn't appear to be an option for 1.9 diesels

Doh! I even mentioned it as being missing but forgot to add it. Problem now being I can't add any more as we are limited to 10. Plus if I combine some categories we might lose the votes, and I don't think (contrary to what I thought at first) you can't vote again...

I've had to combine the GT and GTi (as neither had any votes), should be OKish for now!
