Pisses me off when I realise scum can kill a guy and get off lightly...

Maybe it sets a precident? Maybe all those ****s who pissed you off in the past might be worth spending 90 days in jail for - if you're young enough... or even 4 years (less if you're goody two-shoes?)...

I'm sure the father felt much more than 'disappointed' with the sentences - perhaps he was advised to only go that far with a public statement for fear of retribution when the offenders get out of prison.

A chap I used to know would, just by looking at them, certainly have described the 3 lads as 'people you instinctively want to slap' and I'd have to agree - but isn't that where it starts ?

How many people had the opportunity to motivate these 3 oiks into doing something useful - parents, teachers, probably social workers ? There's so much to be interested in on this planet - are the parents etc so boring that these 3 can only consider arsing around as something interesting to do ?

You've got to motivate yourself, not blame anyone else tbh. If i wanted to be a chav wanker, i could do this today, but i choose to be better. These idiots make their choices, not anyone else imho, they should be shot or sent to a war zone

Hey Phil!

just got the BX a new MOT.

Needed a number plate bulb (there are two-isn't one enough?)

wiper blade was worn out, and the horn did not work.

I could not find a fault with the horn, so perhaps it was just dirty switch contacts from lack of use.

Not bad after 5000 miles in an 18 year old car.

We need another adventure while it is running well

Well done Mike (and BX!)... Yes we need another adventure. Not this year but 2011? I have a number of plans (being me most involve crossing The Channel of course lol)... Beaujolais run idea OK but dates don't work.

I want to visit Loheac again, but the pull of the Alps is strong...

What happens if you pay £190 (including £40 courier costs) to a fellow enthusiast from a certain (not BXC) forum 200 miles for a set of alloys, tyres, exhaust et al. back in January and still haven't got them?

There is a long tale here, but essentially the seller gave them to a mate who was always sending stuff out via a courier service as he had to go offshore for a while. Screwed up by the delays caused by the bad weather, it dragged on. Then: nothing.

Transpired (eventually) that the items were being held by the courier company who hadn't been paid. These, in turn were liberated by the original dispatcher who then said I would have to pay to get them picked up again as his mate's couriers wouldn't touch the job and he had already incurred costs to retrieve the goods.

He won't give me my £190 back, despite initially promising to do so because "I can't be arsed'.

So in the end I might be spending another £38 to get goods I paid for over 6 months ago.

This guy is so not in my good books!

BUT Frankly he's not the only one who can't be arsed and if I end up with the gear, I'll be OK with that as it still represents reasonable value. But FFS! Why not deal with it in an adult fashion. It could've all been sorted by now

I think Bexxy lives up that way somewhere, but not sure how close...

I wonder if Doolally is coming to Gaydon as you could always ask him for a favour.
