Speedo cables cheap enough, I expect a new clutch cable and some adjustment could be all thats needed too.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Could be original clutch at this mileage? i really like the base models.

A bx LEADER,but unstripped,what a shame! and not far from me!!aarrrr, been to look at a Renault 18 TL today too! garaged since 1989!! nnnnooooooooyyyeeeesssssnnooy...... :?

My 16RS doesnt have any toys,no e/w,c/l,tinted glass and no pas but its foreign market spec .

Did anyone else find it ironic that the location is given as Weybridge - isn't that where a lot of BX's end up? :shock:

Yes on a weighbridge :cry: Ive only ever scrapped one, knowing what I know now, I wouldnt have.

Richard,pleased you saved this BX! have you any plans about picking it up? not made easy without tax/mot,you planning on driving it home??
if its any help,i can take you there,from the National,can you get some trade plates??

You don;t need trade plates (Re: an earlier discussion).

I always book the car in with my local mot place, take out temporary insurance to get me home, and then buy tax backdated to cover the trip home once it's got its paperwork.

If the car isn't very roadworthy then don't do it unless you're brave.

Why backdate the tax? I've not bothered until the repairs and MOT are done...

but does booking it in for an MOT allow you to drive 150 odd miles?? im sure the bx would make it!
