People have still got taste!!!

Post by Chris Abbott »

Just popped down to Morrisons for a few goodies with the kids, a lad said to his girlfriend (as i got out of the car) "cor you dont see many of those about" i thought he was marveling at the Audi R8 parked opposite me, no it was the BX he stopped to inspect!!! As i say, people have still got taste! :o

Ha ha nice, I'd do the same.

Recently pulled into a petrol station only to see a Lamborghini Murciélago at one pump, and a Renault Vel Satis next to it. Naturally I was all over the Vel Satis, the Lambo could have been a Fiat Panda for all I cared....

You're not alone, it IS a gorgeous motor... (but unfortunately not as much a Cream-Machine as the Murcielago)

I was in Reading the other day and on the way back I took my son for a drive round the Dealer-Park (Jag, Audi, Aston, Range/Land Rover and Lambo) and as we drove past the Lambo dealers (with 7 Gallardo's outside including a Superleggera) and all he said was "They're only the little one's, where's the Murcielago's"... I was soooo proud! Not a bad retort for a 7 year old

Oh yes... But they hold their value far too well, a decent Vel Satis can now be had for £1,200... an Avantime will be £3,500 +

One day both will be in my driveway :)

Well the Vel Satis is rarer than the Lambo....
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

A friend's 7-year old son got out of their Micra one day, spotted the BX and said "Dad! Look! What a cool car!" When he found out it was mine, we were going to go out in it, and it goes UP AND DOWN!!! he nearly wet himself in excitement.

I was absurdly chuffed. I mean, how often is one validated by a 7-year-old?
