BX convertable

Hi all,

did Citroen ever produce a BX Convertable or anyone else do a job on one?
I know that many Fords were done in the 60s and 70s, i believe Crayford springs to mind and i wondered if it was possible to do this to a BX.
I am an Estate fan so i would not be trying to have a go myself, i reccon the best you could do with an estate is turn it into a pickup.

I REALLY like the idea of a Valver Cabrio and if I had the space and facilities it would look a little some thing like this...

Or for the non-Citrophiles...

Then there's this unfinished mockup...

And the handmade model i bought a few years ago for a whopping 60 euros...

So, as you can see, i've never really put any though into

I like the Ph 1 model model - doesn't it look like it should be amphibious too?

A few years ago I asked some mates to help me with a BX Conversion to a Convertable.

Unfortuanately they got a bit carried away

Was not the design concept of the BX to be very light and basic, the exact opposite of a cabrolet?

No, they didn't.

They did however prototype a Coupe...
