A friend\'s 7-year old son got out of their Micra one day, spotted the BX and said "Dad! Look! What a cool car!" When he found out it was mine, we were going to go out in it, and it goes UP AND DOWN!!! he nearly wet himself in excitement.

I was absurdly chuffed. I mean, how often is one validated by a 7-year-old?

This is exactly why I\'m into hydraulic Cits. I was seven when my dad very briefly had a Mk1 BX GT, and I always told myself that my cars would go up and down when I was a grown-up!

Same as me, we had a Mk1 19RD in 85, compared to the Montego 1.3 stripper we had before it was like a spaceship, 25 years later theres still BXs in the leech household..
