Ok first low dump of the year came in and well lets put it this way it has been a mild winter and this has not lasted more than a day. :cry:

Spot the BX :D

I got to admit I was a bit hesitant to take the TRS up the hill due to its lack of fondness to starting in the cold. Although she was not up there long she really did behave herslef and was more in control on the road than a few other as you can see.
What I like best was seeing the faces of the people waiting to fit chains as I strolled up raised the suspension a flipped the chains on with ease before drivig on 8)

Probably the only time this winter will get to drive a BX up the mountain or in the snow as I mostly drive a bus or truck these days. Still got to be done just to show off :lol:
btw snowed that day reached 18c by the afternoon :shock:

I love the snow too!

Once in Scotland someone lost it on snow outside my house and ended up with their car on top of a six foot hedge. The drivers face was a picture when I ran out and told him that he couldn't park there! Made him a cuppa afterwards. :lol:

I neglected to mention that the photos were taken some 30 minutes up the road from home and the nearest snowflake fell 15 kms away.

Have you checked your boot light switch? had a buggered one of those on a Morris Marina once that kept flattening the battery over night.

Pretty sure that's not the culprit, i suspect another duff battery, but i will double check the boot light. I'll also see if i can see the alternator warning light glowing as well, perhaps it's another buggered alternator :x

Awesome KIWI, wish i lived closer to the Ruapehu as well. Then i could take photos of my car like this in the snow.
