Sorry - went a bit awry there.

Do you want me to check at Medway Citroen for a spare pinion just in case tomorrow, Oscar? I can help fit it too - well pass tools, smoke fags and talk bollox

Equally I can post you one Oscar, although not til early next week, since pinions are some distance away from me, and I'm working all week.

I have one that has just been removed from my valver. Lightest most direct BX I've ever driven, but the big bush had failed in the rack..
The pinion was spot on though, and in use until last week..
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Scarecrow, Doc, that's really kind of you.

I know Medway have a spare on that 1.4 they're scrapping. Getting at it would be a problem but not impossible.

Doc, thanks. This one isn't a write-off yet, but there is always the chance that I stuff it up in fitting it. I shall try and compress the seals back into place again and see how they get on.

I'll need to set asidea day on Medway's ramps to fit it. Scarecrow you're welcome to come along if you like, there'll be plenty of bollox-talking and spanner-passing.

I'd love to come - I usually manage to wind Richard up and the dog thinks it's his second home, which is worrying!! Let me know when you're going to do it.
