As i see no battery in it i assume it's not running. so how's the suspension up?
I have zero patience for your tedium.

Oh yes it was running.I nicked a battery off another and it started straight up.Its a shame as it was agood looking car and i love the colour, but on closer inspection the rear arms needed doing.N/s A pillar was rotten at top hinge.Bad Lhm leak which i guessed was octopus and the final straw was when i took all the stuff out of the boot and lifted the carpet it had rotted through all along the back end.But Shaun has got the engine and auto gearbox so that will keep another on the road and ive got loads of stuff from it also which will no doubt come in handy.Just wish i had taken fuel flap off as the day after it went i found i need one .Bugger it always happens that way!

Is that Peter Dykes old car? If so looks can be deceptive - it looked great when I was there...

Mine's still awaiting the octopus....

Yes Ray it is Peters old one.I had the fullest of intentions of sorting it out but in my humblest of opinions was too far gone when i had a good look round and a sit down thinking of all the jobs to be done. I cant save every one i suppose and it has yeilded some good bits like a fantastic meteor interior with 4 headrests and no sun damage to rear seat etc and also provided Ken/Shaun with the auto box he needed.

To add to it's problems, the headgasket had also failed. But it did provide a good gearbox for a near mint BX19TXD Auto. I'll try to get a picture of it.
