Acceptable accessories...

Post by Philip Chidlow »

OK, what BX accessories are 'cool'? Are Tailblazers 'Hot' or 'Not'?!

I have a Citroen BX dog guard. That's OK, I guess. (Except I don't have a dog #-o) And headlight protectors... I even remember seeing on eBay a while back, plastic doors for the storage compartments in the boot - and they went for a fortune!

I have Gold door locking knobs  Headlamp protectors, the infamous bonnet scoop, temp and boost gauges, roof bars, graphites, and a nice cold leather interior  I may replace the gold knobs 8)

Come on boys you can all do better, who gives a toss about tailblazers when you can have the following, all genuine Citroen Accessories.

Heated Leather Seats

I've got loads of these sort of pictures. I've made it my mission in life to find all the genuine accessories!

Those heated leather seats have just struck a chord with me, I have just been out in the car, its bloody freezing. I was unaware that they were an option on the BX? was it part of a winter pack or something? not sure about the faux timber bits though, might clash with my faux checkerplate floormats and the purple neons :D

OK Ian - at the risk of being labelled brash! - is the Tailblazer for sale?!

I think they look quite neat on a dark car...

Headlight protectors, mudflaps, dealer fit Blaupunkt Boston radio/cassette Citroen BX rubber floor mats... and a BXClub sticker, an accessory no BX should be without :D

According to the original bill of sale, the car was originally equipped with a dog guard, but this is now missing - all I have as a reminder are the odd dog hair or two.
