Yeah, I think my GSA once housed a dog too, the rollerblind rear shelf is still covered in hairs...

Love those pics Ian. A question: are these all on the same car (is it/was it yours?) and another thing, what is the little orange light in the A/C control panel for? And is that a computer below? How did that work? I don't see a display...

I have teh original Blue spoy head unit tucked away as well as the correct adaptor cable to convert the DIN output to phono for an amplifier.
Genuine storage doors and genuine GTi mats are ultra cool as is the leather with rear headrests.
I do not rate tailblazers at all though.
Quads and bonnet vents are pretty cool though as are citroensport jackets keyrings and gear knobs :P

Cheers

Yeah, I'm going off the Tailblazer idea - but GTI mats? Now you're talking!

Only GENUINE Citroen floor mats are cool.

Heated leather seats are VERY cool, as is aircon, but only if it works.

Missing or odd hubcaps are un-cool, as are dog fences and headlamp protectors.

Broken fog lamp lenses are uncool too!

The CX GTI style map torch is ice-cold,

BUT faux wood is very 1970 US station wagon, and as un-cool as a 'baby-on-board' sticker.

Just seen the topic below,

cruise control on a Bx, that would be ultra-cool.

"Only genuine Citroen mats are cool"
Mike I totally agree - I have genuine GTi mats in my 16v and I may still have a std BX set of genuine mats in storage will have to check then they can go into the TD or the other 16 8)

Ah but Mike, imagane a broken headlight that could oh so easily have been saved by a little strip of plastic. Kewl or not, they are in my mind essential kit

I`d agree Marty but having seen the money these things command on eBay I`ve decided it`s actually cheaper to replace the headlights! Obviously miles away from home with no spare in the car and one breaks you`re potentially in trouble though!

One of my BXs came with plastic spot light protectors. Not a genuine Citroen accessory but a bloomin' good idea given the cost of replacing those little bu**ers.

Are Tailblazers 'Hot' or 'Not'?!
Sorry guys, I know lots of you like them, but I cannot stand the things. They were hot for around eight minutes in the summer of 1986. What do you see them on - Pug 309s, ZXs, Xants maybe? And twenty years later all faded and horrible!

As every junction in a light system causes loss of light these things must reduce the output of the rather poor lights of a BX still further. Looking around at the number of dirty ones (Not BX) there must be some people driving around in the dark!

You used to be able to buy clear headlamp repair tape - I suppose some on this stuck on would probably protect from stone impact.
