Well its been pulled from adtrader now, if it has been £2995 I would have been temped! I doubt the author will put his hand up and be counted.

IMHO it was immature and pointless. Quite a character assassination.

Maybe a disgruntled 2nd place winner from a show or something similar?

Just a thought....

I know who it was, cant prove it though as is always the way, anyway its gone now, even so very immature. Lets hope it doesnt happen again.

I think the show scene and the whole classic citroen groups etc is all done in good spirit by the people that enter it and theres no upset or back biting, it would be good to see some other BXs on it though, I win as im the only entrant!, that 4x4 on ebay looks a good contender.

One of the things that I've really valued in the 5 years-or-so that I've been in Citroen circles is the camaraderie. Even as a clueless newbie I was made welcome, people helped me, I helped people. We made each other laugh. I've disagreed with what others wrote, and people have disagreed with what I wrote. I've been thankful that it's always been good natured, with no grudges held, and no nasty stuff in the background. I'm very sorry that it seems it's not always the case.

Personally, I don't understand how any disagreement justifies this sort of thing. There are other ways of airing grievances and resolving problems.

Wikipedia? This was Adtrader right?
I mean it was in the photo. Am I missing something fundamental here?
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Okay, calm down dear, it's only an advert

I shouldn't worry Tim- you're a character to be sure, but I've never been offended by anything you've said on here.

Unfortunately it's a little more than that, it is part of a pathetic character assassination campaign that has been going on against Tim and shouldn't be tolerated on here.

Thats quite shocking. The way in which the advert is worded and the authors suprisingly clever yet still bitter use of language is the key to understanding who this person is likely to be. You don't even need to read between the lines to narrow it down to someone who uses this forum, and when you do read between the lines it is obvious, but I don't think anyone needs to point the finger here... After all, those who try to bully someone through an internet forum probably hate themselves.

Totally agree. We're all a mix of good things and bad things - highlight the good not the bad. First rule of management (and most other things too) - praise in public - bollockings in private.
