I like that - and would have been tempted if not for the green XM I have just popped on the road as of today!

Surely the wheel is just a plastic cover panel

Its a later black wheel off a 16v/TZD which without the but cover spoils it, trivial I know but lets it down.

Mine is used/has been used, variously to transport dogs, building materials, whole tree trunks, lathes, garden waste, dead animals, old people, whole house contents, a sailing dinghy, boulders, pigs, my winter supply of firewood....

It's so bloody practical I can't help it.

I read that as old animals and dead people!

But yes, they are massively practical cars for carrying things like firewood...

And perfectly level after it had risen again, although I was wary of hard braking on the trip back home!

I'm not surprised since the business end of the chainsaw is pointing towards the front!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Looks a good one,
Richard.
Did anyone on here buy it, then? I had my heart (well, other internal organ of lesser value) set on it, but when I rang up about it was told it had been sold!

And yes, Richard; it did look a good one! (and Tim; I have the correct steering wheel, and correct wheel trims shouldn't have been too difficult to find!)
