Yeah - anyone who can afford the fuel to drive an SD1 that far in a year should be up for getting the next round in...

Oh.. hang on.. that probably applies to 2.8 Granny owners as well

As its a manual box Brian its better than you would imagine, 30mpg is quite easy on a run.

Official figures are 36 mpg at 56mph, but at a steady 60 in 5th where shes turning over at just over 2000rpm 30mpg is quite the norm. Mind you hammer it and that halves!

Just realised, it's just over 5 years since I joined the BX Club. I'll probably crack open a Tizer to celebrate lol!

Likewise, 17 days prior to you! :P

The drink was already cracked open before I realised though...

Ahhh, no Tizer in the house: instead a 2006 Piccini Chianti... bliss.

Just seen a potentially very serviceable Xantia V6 Exclusive go on eBay for £170.99. Bloody hell, you can't get a half serviceable BX for that these days! :D

no idea how long I've been here, too long probably.. But I'm having a Tribute or two in celebration of the life of a top man that died today.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Radio controller in work, Bobby, been there forever, one of the family kinda thing.
Massive heart attack. Not the first he's had, but definitley his last.
I'm told he was either on, or about to get on, a plane to Germany for a holiday.

Only 64, looking forward to retiring.
