The sender and gauge were originally out of an (F reg?) 16v, and therein lies my problem. If I go to my local stealer he won't do anything without a chassis number, despite me telling him that it's no point giving him a chassis number from a car which never had a sender originally! "Can't help you then mate" is the helpful reply.
So - can anyone who still has access to PR net confirm whether there is more than one sender type? If there is just one, then if I know the part number I can just give 'em that…or failing that anyone care to give me a valver chassis number please?
