From what I can make out it doesn't drive because the clutch has gone!

What a strange dash set up - the glove box doesn't make sense. Am I right in thinking that a phase 1 bx is visually defined by the smaller indicators at the front?

BX Leader très bon état intérieur. L'embrayage vient de lâcher, elle démarre très bien mais ne peut plus rouler.

"BX leader, interior in very good condition. The clutch has just gone, so it starts but can't be driven any more."

It's not a phase one, it's an early phase two - bigger indicators at the front, but the main giveaway's the later type dash. The extra glovebox on top is standard on LHD models (or at least it is on all the French ones I've seen.) Shame they didn't carry it over to the RHD ones too. Looks like it doesn't have a lid on the main glovebox though.

Nope that's right. AFAIK all LHD versions had the upper compartment in the dash. On this Leader it is correct to not have a glovebox lid, just a shelf as per all the base models
