This Hurricane has the wrong interior, it's been robbed/swapped over with one from a TZD/GTi pattern as already pointed out in post #3 made by me in this thread, as it's all been discussed before in THIS thread when it was on E-Bay back in December of 2009 when possibly the current owner/seller bought it (If you can decipher all that) !
Any how just for the record the interior of the Hurricane's should be tailored with the same type of velour trim as was fitted to the early Xantia VSX model's as shown in the photo below:-
I hope that's now sorted

Hi there, I'm a long term bx fan/driver/sufferer - and also a member of the ccc, delighted to stumble across a bunch of fellow crazies - I can't understand why no one else 'gets' them - they are beautiful!
Anyway, to cut to the chase I'm the person that just parted with 500 quid for the 'hurricane' on ebay. The seller was very genuine - a Spanish guy returning home and very reluctant to sell the car. The car had been relisted as the previous seller (also genuine) had suffered an accident and could no longer buy the car.
Mechanically the car is very solid and well cared for - recent cam belt and steering pump, and really does go like stink! Cosmetically it is a little 'challenged'. The bonnet will need a respray - but nothing that can't be sorted in order to get it back to something like its former glory. Interested to hear the comments on the interior - I was aware that it wasn't the usual 'Hurricane' interior - but I know late plate saloons often varied from the list spec as the factory wound down production - assumed this might have been the case here? Either way it is a very tidy interior - usual bulbs gone in the dash however
Hope to post some pics as I get it sorted - Oh and nice to meet you all by the way - however 'virtually'!
Cheers
Paul
