Changing a vehicle taxation group involves taking the log book, insurance, mot and cheque to your local DVLA office, you CANT tax it at the local post office if swopping from disabled to PLG etc.

Looks like its going to be one of them jobs. Nothing simple, Unless he keeps the tax on so who ever get the car can drive up. Then sort it out when they are there. Unless he could do it.

technically, its illegal for anyone who dosent have a current DLA404 certificate (certificate of entitlement to disability living allowance )
to drive a vehicle displaying a disabled tax disc for any distance.

Im pretty sure that if you are not entitled to disabled tax then driving a car displaying a disabled tax disc will invalidate your insurance and leave you open to a charge of fraud as well as no tax.

In fact it can only be driven by either the person getting higher rate DLA who must be the registered keeper ( if they can drive themself )

or a nominated person whos name must appear on the certificate and who can only use the vehicle to transport the disabled person named on the certificate.( if the disabled person cannot drive themself )

I believe that is correct.

I had the same chat with the MoT bloke whilst MoTing Phoenix since thats got a disabled tax disc.
A copper mate said it would be fine as I was taking it or from an MoT therefore no problem, but otherwise no.

Changing the taxation class is easy enough though, we have to do that with very bus we buy to change it from class 6 to class 5.
The only drawback being a very long wait in the VRO and the ensuing arguement about it being a large car instead of a bus..
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I doubt that mate, hence why it was pulled.

Perhaps he realised it was going head-to-head with another black 4x4 ?

2 things I find a little strange - I can't think of an illness that would make me want a smaller car - and the chevrons on the bonnet are upside down - what's going on there ?

He's said he reserves the right to cancel if it doesn't make the money he wants - and that's what he's done. He may well list it again after the other one has finished unless someone has done a private deal.

The problem with his listing was the space between the B and the X.

The search for 'Citroen BX' looks for both words - 'Citroen' and 'BX' - where the listing says 'Citroen B X' then the search won't find it because it sees the B and the X as separate letters - not a 'word'.

I smell a rat there!

If he wouldn't let it go for less than £X then why not just have a reserve of £X..
Jeez, some people actually ask to be raped dont they..

I think ebay may have pulled the listing because of those comments. If he is not willing to sell below a certain price put a reserve on it.
