Hi Paul - sorry I didn't know it'd been posted already.

Anyone going skiing in their GTi 4x4 this year? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CITROEN-BX-SKI-CA ... 2552a39987

Scarecrow !
It's not only been spotted/discussed before It's NOT a even a MK1 (or a MK2 16 TGD)

then contact the seller.
Brian ! The /\ above link is for a MK2 BX, as it has mirror's, chrome/rubber side mouldings, smoked rear light cluster's and bumper which are all as used for a MK2 (Also the lower/rear wheel arches look bulged out which was a feature of the MK2 bodywork) !

I doubt very much that someone has retro fitted all that to a MK1 (indeed if it was one), I think that the 'A18 GMD' reg. has thrown your thinking it was, that was obviously someones personal plate at sometime IMHO !

Indeed it was Tim - I was going entirely on the numberplate #-o

The two /\ above quotes from THIS thread for ref.
Another clue is that MK1's never had the 'TGS/TGD' in the model/spec. annotation, also the one in the E-Bay link is actually a 16 TGS (the title/post states 16 TGD).

If it was a TGD it would have been a 17 or 19 TGD !

The 'D' means it's an oil burner

Well, I must be getting lazy - or bored  I was the number plate that threw me.

Are you sure about the D always referring to a diesel? I thought there was discussion about it sometime accusing Citroen of a witty ruse...
