140k km, apparently good condition inside, few dents outside, Controle Technique (equivalent of MoT) expired. Close to the ferry!

Paul in Normandy - BX 1992 Millesme 1.9D, 1999 Peugeot 806 2.1 TD (the Bus) - gone bang on the M25, in a scrapyard somewhere in the SE of England, 1985 Visa Decouvrable, 1990 Land Rover 110TD (Great Uncle Bulgaria),1999 Isuzu Trooper, 1991 Hymer motorhome with Peugeot J5TD power, and a shedfull of mopeds!

Picked this up on Friday - got it the 85 km home OK.
Seems to pull well, nice light clutch, doesn't smoke according to the boss who was following in the other BX.
Its had recent spheres at the front, and a new turbo about 4,000 miles ago. Its got a UK / miles dash in it, apparently a problem with the old one and the UK one was the only one with the right connections to be found in the local scrapper! Rev counter does not work though.
Body seems solid and reasonably rust free, although there are a few parking dings.
Rear parcel shelf has had big speakers in it at some time, radio wiring is a bit of a mess, there's a replacement shelf but its the wrong colour.
Rear headrests in some sort of dark blue - they'll probably be got rid of at some time - more of a nuisance than they're worth in my opinion.
We'll see what Tuesday's CT brings up.
