BX 16 RS Pilot For Sale

I have for sale my late Mother’s G registered Citroen BX 16 RS (Pilot). My father first registered it in August 1989 and then ownership was transferred to my mother. It has done only 29860 miles, mostly local shopping trips.
It is fitted with a Citroen tow bar but has only ever towed a very small trailer.
It has an MOT until August 2011.
The bodywork and interior are generally good, there is a small hole in the cill by the rear offside passenger door. Also, there is a small amount of damage to the interior trim of the rear passenger door where the dog chewed it!
The fuse that controls the central locking and radio has blown, I have not found out why as yet. As far as I can tell everything else seems to work as it should.
My wife and I both have cars and nowhere to store the BX. If anyone in the BX Club would like to look at the car, it is in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
The value according to Autotrader would be around £220.00 but would be open to negotiation.

There is also tax up to August 2011which could be purchased extra to the price for the car if required.
I would like the car to go to someone who will appreciate it.

Interested.Any chance of more pics?
How bad is dog damage?Has it had any previous welding?

Thats a rare beast! I don't live far away (burton upon trent) and would be interested in taking a look some time.

fixable, but to do it properly the wing would have to come off. Lots of work to do REALLY well, but patchable without too much hassle.

Aside from that though, that looks stunning!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

the inner sill looks ok from that picture though.. it's common for valvers to do that, I mean, ok, thats a bit extreme, but ya know..
Easier to fix the sill than do a really flawless job on the door shut..

Hmm I am tempted, if you dont go for it Richard that is, if you do as its near me let me know and we can meet up for a BX chat (and you can collect the bumper :wink: )
