I know you've had that experience with yours Phil, but I wonder if that wasn't down to the refridgerant? Mine's been filled with RS24 for 4 years now, and no noticeable drop off in performance.
OK, fair enough - comparing only two (different) systems isn't any kind of scientific comparison but it seem harsh to condemn RS24 as being 'leaky'...

On reflection you are right. Despite the fact my system showed little in the way of leaking (after UV test) it was probably losing it somewhere!

The vendor has replied to my questions and here are some more details,
The suspension works ok but is hard. He doesnt think car has aircon?
Some rust on n/s inner wing but rest of car is solid.
Broken mirror is a manual adjust(not electric)

If this doesnt do silly money as it sounds like it needs aset of spheres,it would do for my mother.Either that or the TZD Auto also on the Bay of Grot.
