It must be the weather we get up here that kills old cars off.Hardly anything is North of the M25 that appears for sale. Its not so bad if their in good health and can be driven back but trailoring all that way is a pain.

Offside one is easy enough, but the nearside one is something else.

easy witha Pug / Xantia rubber gaitor though, plenty of lube of course, but they slip on pretty well. 20 minutes tops.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Sounds as though it should be. I've sent a message asking which gaitor needs replacing. Fixing the lighting should be easy peasy and it looks a tidy car.

It's close enough to me to go and look at it if you'd like me to.

Still haven't had a reply to my eBay messages - I've checked my outbox - they've definitely been sent to the seller.

bought a Meteor 5 years ago for 50 quid. Nice car bit I just wanted the 4 brand new Hankooks that were on it, for my TXD.

Needed a bit of welding and a radius arm, then I converted it to dieasel with an old 19 RD motor I had spare, Worked with the Meteors g/box just fine. Gave it to son in law, who sold it on when he bought his Picasso 20 HDI.
