I know cavmad but half of me doesnt want to sell, the longer I leave it thet harder it will be to get rid! SO i need someone to come along quick play me the money (for which its a bargain!) and take it away before I change my mind!

Which wont help the current situation!

Being a diesel, it think I'd be keeping it for a rainy day.

Trust me Ken I wish I could! Im loosing my storage very soon like yourself and i need all the money I can get! Im flying the nest at the tender age of 31, so have to get rid of the non essentials to be able to have some kind of standard of living! theres no point selling the TZS as its worth nowt and its the car I always wanted plus with very little money it will be a lovely car.

The xantia I want to keep and the SD1s in the lockup so its ok.

So its time to take advantage of my awkward situation and bag a bargain!

I know what you mean about this one mate. My 16v should be going this morning to another forum member, when i took all our bits out of it last night i was so totally going to ring him up and say, no sorry im keeping it.

I hope the new owners get on well with it, Im glad im at work and not having to hand her over, i know its only a car and i've only had it 3 weeks but i hate selling citroens, especially ones that work so damn well.

Indeed, if i had lots of money and lots of storage then theres NO WAY I would sell. But I have to be sensible, I need to buy a house and having 4 cars none of which are essentials is a over kill.! I have a lock up where I can store the Xantia and theres a falmer who lives 10 miles away that rents storage so hopefully i can put the BX Auto and SD1 in there!.

Will let u know if he buys it!

At £350 its a steal!

Oh dear. We're reducing down to only two cars between us otherwise I'd be interested!

Does mean I get to flog my partners somewhat ropey (but seemingly indestructible) AX though! Hoorah!! Thought we'd never be shot of it!

reducing, to two cars?

Ian, you feeling OK? How long is this going to last. Are you going to burn the AX and see if it survives?

Matt - no, going to put the AX on top of a block of flats and them demolish it.

Toyota Hilux has got nothing on my girlie's AX!!

Keeping the Rover though. That will be our modern car and I'll be using the 2CV as my everyday car. It'll be fine for the 25 mile daily commute!

Am not looking forward to it but a change of career is proving less generous with the oodles of cash to which I have become accustomed (at spending that is!)
