Return Hose Pressure

The circled is the location of the leak on the Hose that goes from the reservoir to the Accumulator/FDV.

Just before the leak is two hoses that go down to the Height Correctors.

The question I am faced with is to replace the pipe which this time year could be over a week away or repair it some how.

How much pressure is going through that pipe and would I be able to get away with an unsecured piece of piping inserted where the leak is? One end has to be unclipped because of the location.

The other option I have involves a old piece of that pipe which does not have the two HC pipes connected so same problem.

Foxed me at the moment with no garages open until next monday (10th)

It's not so much a case of pressure, but of flow

Basically bodge whatever you can get your hands on in there to keep things moving until a more permanent solution can be sorted.

Bodge has one the battle

First bodge would work because of nothing wide enough to bridge the gap!

Second bodge sort of works but the end nearest the FDV/Accumulator junction the pipe split so I had to lose another inch so its a tight fit.

Incidentally it looks like the junction were it branches off down by the Accumulator and FDV has been botched quite well in the past with some plumbing joins

Me thinks a bit of pllumbing skills going to be needed for the future
