The "Fate" of Pleiades

Post by AlanS »

Just had this posted on an Ausiie website so thought I'd post it here FYI.
It has been brought to my attention that Pleiades in the U.K. has closed down! Nothing could be further from the truth. I can assure you that Pleiades in the U. K. is alive and well, however, they have changed their address to:

Green End House,
Scotney Way,
Sawtry,
Cambs.,
PE28 5XF.

The telephone number remains the same:

Tel/Fax: (00 11 44) 1487 831239

Email: pleiades@tesco.net

The Australian address has also changed, it is now:

P.O. Box 834,
Childers,
Qld. 4660.

Tel/Fax: (07) 4126 2502.

Email: pleiadesauto@pacific.net.au

All the above contact details are in our new advertisements in the club magazines.

Interesting - just shows how much damage you can do to your business if you neglect your website and its links.

Glad they're still around - as BX bits get less common we may all need them.

It's worth noting that they have more than one website.
In addition to:-
http://www.pleiades.uk.com/
they also have:-
http://www.citroen-hydraulics.com/
where you can also buy stuff online.

From the grave I know, but neither of those links now works. Anyone know if they are still trading? I need to replace some piping because of a large leak from infront of the rear nearside wheel :-(

Phone them, you will speak to them, no problems, i did just before christmas, wether they will have what you need or be bothered to do anything about it if they havent is another matter, no offence but you phone them for small stuff these days and you get poor service, although they seem happy to sell you large expensive bits. This isnt moaning or slandering, its just my personal experience.

Likewise. They used to be great, now, I avoid them as much as I possibly can since they dont actually seem to be the least be interested in selling anything.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Just to confrim then that Pleiades are still there - I spoke with Martin about pipes and he was very helpful in terms of being able to make up pipes. I just need to sort out exactly where my leak is coming from now.
