It's not bad as these in car filming thingies go. Helps as it's a BX

Hi Phil
I watched this when you sent me the link.
I think a few other drivers on the ring at the same time will be having their cars checked out after the humble BX has blown them away.
Not bad footage could be useful if i want to have a go sometime.

I agree, the link seems to have gone bad???

I can't get it anymore? :?

So try this: http://www.caradisiac.com/Une-BX-sous-l ... -58287.htm

Online translators make me laff! "But which is the receipt of the vitaminized cocktail which gives sufficient courage to this BX to dare to face l' green hell?"

Sounds good too!

I like where he has to put the upper compartment lid down after it pops up over the rough bit at between 6:55 and 7:05-ish 8)

Note, if you were doing this in a RHD BX this'd be your view point as driver.

Hi
Just watched that again and the only car that is faster on that run is a white FORD Focus ST.
WOW all those others older but not quicker than the Focus.
I think if the BX had got through when the Focus got through he would have stayed with him and got a better time.
Still some pretty good driving even one handed after The glovebox lid popped.
Seems pretty well worn in places
I bet the BX went well on the way home a good ragging never did anything any harm.
note allways check your oil and coolant levels prior to a good thrash.
And watch you oil pressure and water temps while you are thrashing it.
I think a club trip is on the cards in the future,
Even the diesels should be good round there.

Regards and a Belated Happy new year to you all

I can see it now too! Love the sound of the 16v engine. It gets me determined to get mine back out on the autobahn again.

He's a good driver but he also seems to know the perfect line for this track whereas the other cars just look like normal family cars driven by people who have wandered onto the track by accident while out on a shopping trip. That Porsche must be driven by a drunk granny it's wallowing all over the shop!
But of course there is no competition for the Citroen BX GTI 16v - now only 99p from your friendly Ebay. :D
