Looks quite nice that one, & a very rare estate version as well. Looks like the seller doesn't want to reveal his reserve

Who knows what offer he'll accept, it'll either be sensible, or daft tbh but which one

Might be issues with the transfer box due to the extra torque over the 1.9 carb engine though. Infact Andy & Westroen did say that he once owned a turbo diesel 4x4 (he didn't do the conversion), he sold it on quite a few years ago, i suspect it must have been scrapped or is extremely anonymous as i've never heard of it before.

I'm also sure that i've still got a pm'd msg from a finnish chap who gave me some info on how they beef up the transfer box to cope with extra power, i'll have a look & get back to you Kevan.

Might be issues with the transfer box wanting to occupy the same space as the turbo as well! It would be rather tight behind the engine on a turbo diesel 4x4, but obviously possible. Plus the petrol gearing would be a tad low.

I think the low range box on this is the bigger problem with trying to mate the TD than the transfer splines. Would the TD gears or box mate up if new transfer shafts were made?

Strange thing ebay, it didn't make £150 last time he listed it, it's now up to £650 this time and still going? I bet he's now glad he didn't sell it to me for £550 yesterday.
