Not a thing :)

Advisory on the 'park brake excess travel', and slight oil mist around one of the spheres... Hahahah!

Knowing my luck it'll probably lunch its engine on the way home for saying this... But it should be reasonably trouble free for the next couple of months at least

Finally managed to investigate the parcel shelf that kept falling into the boot of my 16v this weekend, and came up with a solution...

With it being a split folding rear seat, there is no support from the rear seat, and the heavy 6x9 laden shelf is supported only by the tiny plastic hinges on either side. they work fine normally, but the extra weight meant it was falling in whenever you attack a fast corner, or go over a particularly nasty bump.

I had a look at the spare phase 1 rear bench, considered fitting it, but it seemed a shame as isn't as nice. The brackets on the seat were bolted to the metal backing, and it would appear the holes aren't there on the split fold... but if you have a bit of a poke with a screwdriver, they are there hidden behind the carpet.

I now have Phase 1 + 2 shelf support :)

Only problem is that the ones I have are broken, as I swapped the good ones onto the leather interior I sold

On to the wanted section I go...

Also averaged 34mpg over the last tankful... that's up 7mpg from last time

Looking good!

That's useful to know about the parcel shelf too. Not sure if it all totally applies to mine, but I definitely need to sort something out to stop it falling down all the time.

Cheers.
