Is that white Mk.1 estate still around?

Post by toddao »

I remember at the CCC Midlands meet at Stratford in 2009, some bloke turned up in a white Uk registered but left hand drive Mk.1 estate. I also remember that he was on the club for a bit too. Anyone remember the bloke or know whether the car is still going?
That's got to be ( or was) the last one still going in Uk that we know of. There's that one in that field in N.I but that's only going downwards at the moment! :(

I think this is the one I saw on the A14 once. Sure I posted up about it in the Spotted thread... (heads off to search.)

EDIT - here you go. http://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=

Thanks Ian, that's great. Looks as though he's quite a BX fan from his list of cars - he's got two '84 BXs! Let's see if we can flush him out and get an update..

The Mk1 16RS is indeed still alive and well and belongs to my good friend Jon Self (Citroenboi), its currently SORNED as he has more cars than e knows what to do with but should be out and about soon.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
