I've heard back from the seller - it's a steel bonnet - so I have a bid in

But I have a question - listed as 83 model so presumably mark 1 - does this also fit the mark 2 bodyshell ?

I did indeed - very lucky boy

The company is A P Western - they have a page of body panels for the BX and I have a copy of it - when I get a mo I'll post the page with their contact details. I asked the price of sills just to give an idea of their costs - £20 + VAT which is very reasonable - could be useful to us.
