Let me think about this for a mo :?

I could swap my diesel car with MOT for an old BX with no MOT, probably rusty pipework and at least one leaning-in rear arm bearing :?

One of my old cars is this one.Came over and picked it up off Ebay.Wasnt a bad old girl really but does need an arm bearing doing. Lovely engine etc.

All you need to do is get a cheap common as muk car from auction. Then swap him for it.

Spotted two weeks ago in the For Sale section. It was put through an MoT which it didn't pass and there was quite a 'fail list' to rectify before a pass could be achieved. We went to see it and no way was it worth the asking price as it was; perhaps half of it on a good day! Don't know what's become of it since and not really interested enough to phone and find out.

I was about to buy it when it first went up for sale in Dublin... but I'm glad Big Terry beat me to it.

He did end up finding a buyer, I texted him just after the last of 4 adverts were placed on Gumtree. Not sure who it went to, he started trying to flog me a Toyota Carina so enough was enough :)
