It's not what I am after, but someone who is handy and in the Sulfolk area could get a BARGAIN. Almost no MOT, but sounds like he wants £80 ish for it!!

My mum used ot have one of these – for some rason I remember it as being horrible to drive - very heavy steering or something.
Probably worth the money for those four spot/fog lights in the front bumper...

It MAY have power steering being a late one but I doubt it, which would mean you need good upper body strenth at parking speeds!

That Talbot Arizona (to be a pedantic arse) will definitely not have PAS, and although is a 1.9D, will be the square-port engine. For some reason Peugeot continued to supply the 309 with 65hp square-port engines right up until 1993 when they were discontinued.. all other PSA cars went to the oval port 71hp engine in about 1988.

The 45mpg means it's been thrashed to within an inch. They will (with a little care) get figures approaching what a BX could get. (but not quite!)

Also, being a "style" model means that you have NO extras. Not even intermittent wipers!

I had a TGD BX with the square port, and whilst it would never set the world on fire with regards any speed records (would do 70, but would rather sit at 60 on the M-Way), it did run forever on a thimble full of diesel. 55MPG was common and more could be had at a push.
The TGD also did not have PAS, yet wasnt that bad for parking really.
