It doesn't stir excitement with the very vague description and bad limited photos.

Nice ABS light too
Noticed that as well, phase 1 16v cars must be thin on the ground now. Even with the vague description its still well worth the money.

Agreed, its low miles and very straight, just needs a decent owner who knows what they have bought!

Looks good from here too. Probably has got a few issues but could be a sound basis. My ABS light comes on when the ignition is switched on and only switches off a few seconds after it's started.

They keep appearing from their hiding places!

Anyone going to look at this? Would be good to bring it into the fold. This must not be pugged - I'm sure their beady eyes are on it too with that low mileage.

Well he answered my 1st message almost straight away asking how much to finish auction early to which ive responded. But ive sent him another 3 messages last night asking if there are any "nasties" or any history etc and where to send him a deposit and had no answer. Might have gone to bed early/work early this morning but its annoying!

How do you know this Tim, have you been to see it? The description I'm looking at doesn't give any details at all, no mileage , no MOT, no RFL , totally zilch?

If I didn't already own 2 of the buggers I'd buy this like a shot. Try finding any 16v these days, let alone one with less than 100k on the clock.

The fact it has an ABS light at all is a good sign. I imagine that I won't have been on for that long, they usually just take the bulb out of the dash for the MoT, and then fit the wrong rear arm bearings

Agreed a price with seller as he came back to me today with a phone number. It really is a 1 owner car but the old dear had thrown all the paperwork away which was out of date just keeping the current MOT and logbook which is a total bugger!!!Just waiting for sellers daughter to sort out removing ebay listing when she comes home from work.
Says theres a little wear on drivers bolster and a hole/burn in passenger seat but its supposed to be rust/dent free and garaged all its life. We shall see?

If correct, this could be the BX find of the year, a phase 1 Bx 16v will be a rare find in this condition.

Just such a shame there is no service history, it might be worth you locating a blank service history book and getting the dealer to stamp it up for you, its worth a try.

I am glad its going to a good home, and will be saved from the Peugeot 205 philistines.
