Half of its my fault anyway. I should have looked at the car before i bought it from medway. I wanted a tzd and i was worred that there will be none around. So i just gotit there and then without looking at it. I do trust bullwinkle. When i got the car i told him to do the minores. On the mot, I did it bit by bit. Then i took it in for the mot. At another gaurge, And it past. But it came back with loads of minoers on it. And when i asked bullwinkle to check the car over. He came up with just the same. As what was on the mot certifacte.
Its just getting to me latley. Seeing my mates in new cars. And im bit worried that if i get a new job ill have to travle longer. Keep thinking to my self is it worth it. I want to enjoy my car what ive got. Want it to be as smooth and safe. Just want it to be perfect. I dont feel safe in it i have got used to it though.

I must have been a weird kid because I used to like having the biggest old shitters I could lay my hands on to drive. I was spoilt for choice though as it was at the height of the British Leyland era :D I've only ever owned one Ford though, and that was an accident - I'd gone to buy a car at my landlord's garage, test drove a bx and loved it, and came away with a rust-bucket Fiesta because the clutch slipped in the bx.

Paul, you could buy another bx and odds-on it will need just as much money spending on it. Trust me, I know!

If that were possible I suspect you would choose something more valuable and saleable (today) than a BX!

Phoned up bullwinkles today. Even he said the same thing. He said to keep my money. Then sort it out when i have a job.
If i do get a job before i run out of my redudant money. I am very tempted to take it in to him. Im still intrested of a new pump. So if you guys are up for it still. For when i come up to the meeting. Be a good experance to get my hands dirty. And learn from others.
thanks

For sure

Sort out a list of parts needed and let's see what can be scrounged :D this has to be important stuff though, not cosmetic.

Then we'll run a thread advertising for the parts and willing hands. Although I still think a good saturday afternoon would sort out your car.

But i trun the radio off keep driving then trun it back on its fine

I know of a Black TZD that's being broken only 12 miles from you, however I doubt they will help you any, as they are a pair of very selfish people. :(

Sounds more like your battery needs replacing as it's not holding a charge, as you've proved you're getting a charge whilst running! However if it's turning the car over to start it OK then it's probably not battery or alternator and may be down to dicky connections! :)

Heres a good example of one day being good. And the other day being bad.
On friday i top my car with hydrolic fluid.
Got in on the saturday, Started it up. Then the lights came on the dash. Warning stop light and hydrolic light.
I was off to my dads at the time. Its about under 10 miles somthing like that. Tattershall to bardney. Nearly all the way there the lights came on. The steering wasnt good. The suspansion was hard and shit.
Got in on the sunday. To go home. pump up lights came off. And it was the best ride ive had in a long time. Suspansion was ok steering was superb. How can that happerned.

My exact same thoughts, or perhaps an intermittent pump fault, cheapest option is either to tighten the belt up or replace it rather than faffing with the pump.

Please tell me paul that you didn't drive the 10 miles with the suspension not having risen up (hence the harsh ride)? That can cause damage if you're not careful.
