I know, but I had to mention it as I've never seen one in the flesh. Not my cup of tea - I prefer the saloon.

Edit:Duh! It was at Hills, nr Rochester.

There's one that frequents most of the CCC rallys, they have a proper name for them but it escapes me... i'm sure someone will fill in the blank...
I have zero patience for your tedium.

There were a few CX's converted by Tissier in France (and later by CX-Basis in Germany) to undertake fast distribution of newspapers (like the Financial times). They were known as the Loadrunner (Bagagère).

Tissier also did six wheeled versions of the DS and the XM.

The CX known as Load runner, is owned by teacher Phil Collins.
His website is www.thejoyofcx.co.uk

This reminds me, I really do miss driving my CX....maybe I should do something about it this year, in time for the ICCCR meeting in 2012

Pity there are not more 6 wheel CXs about - could make a decent camper.

 £220000? I've seen considerably cheaper houses!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I suppose that some of those vans do become peoples' houses!

I didn't realise that he had that 6- wheeler built here in Germany by CX-Basis. They happen to be just down the road here ( well, the autobahn) - about an hour away.

I wonder if there will ever be something like BX-Basis? A BX only specialist. We're too busy repairing the things ourselves for there to be demand for such a place.. whereas the CX is potentially a considerably bigger headache it seems and attracts punters with a bit more €€€ too.
