Bit of a Citroen clear out. The BX 16v is gone and now I'm finally to be rid of my girlfriends AX! Hoorah!!

Miss the BX a bit - great fun - but the AX is not in the same category!

Ebay item 4615058548 for the best car in the world - mainly because it refuses to die!

She's taking custody of my new Rover which means I'll be in the 2CV as my everyday car!! AND THAT'S IT! Only two cars. How will I cope?!

Sadly, a new job is not proving as fruitful with the car-tokens so I have had to consolidate the fleet until I get earning decent dollar again. At least I'm finally going to be rid of the AX!! Thought it would never happen!

Can't knock them too much (not many cars that can carry a bottle of wine in each front door) but there are far nicer cars to drive!

Yes, we do have a Rover. Yes, I do have a beige cardigan! Must buy some Wethers Originals...

I DID own a brown Rover (P6B aaah) but now I have a smart metallic red one.

Anyone know where you can get tweed seat covers?

I had a 1971 P6B in tobacco leaf, also known as babyshit brown! Went well but impossible to steer!

Yep. Mine was tobacco leaf! Don't know about the steering though - mine was fine once you were moving and only heavyish at parking speeds.

Main problem was how vague it was! Allied to a big wheel, it wasn't the best for feedback!

Lovely car. Just wish someone else was paying the fuel bills!

There's a certain skill to steering P6s; for a short while I was driving the P6 and a GS as my two everyday cars and as they are such polar opposites it was hard to switch from one to the other!

There is a lot of play and wander in a P6 steering setup but as long as you don't overcorrect for every time it wanders it will, on average, follow a straight line.

As well as the brown Rover, I also own a pair of driving gloves...

Do you also have a matching tweed jacket with patches ironed on the elbows? ;)
