My view of the Visa is that in its most basic form, and as a GTi it looks OK. But nothing can detract from the fact the Visa isn't a pretty car. The cabriolet has curiosity value, but you'd need a thick skin and a fat wallet to consider this.

Sacrilege, maybe, I know (says the Synergie owner :? )

Good grief! Not sure I could pay that much for a Visa. There was another on the market for less than a grand recently IIRC?

Typical Citroen looks - love it or hate it.

I went to see a black XM once (not my current one) the seller said the only reason she was selling was because it was so ugly...

(It turned out to be a blatantly mis-advertised shed, so I told her where to stick it)

£3.5k :lol: :lol: Computer say's NO. What should be a realistic price for a car like that in that type of conditon (which does look mint) £1.5k tops?

PaulWitchard of this very forum has one – a RHD one bought for peanuts on that there Ebay a little while back and brought over to France. Not as shiny as this one though!

Quite right - haven't paid more than £500 for a car this century - the Visa Cabriolet came in at below that price as well.
Ours is silver - nowhere near as shiny, but its great fun.
I'm not a polisher - life's far too short to polish cars!!
Some colleagues have got a Rover 214 / 216?? drophead which looks much better but suffers from terrible scuttle shake and rattles and is imho a complete heap by comparison! The 4 doors are a bonus, when you get to our age getting into the back of a 2 door car is a real pain.
