We don't have a design settled yet. Anyone object if I got some of the first one, but where there is black type (as opposed to chevrons) it'd be white on a clear interior sticker. The Vive la difference! is still red.

Looks good Phil, I especially like the bottom "vive le difference" one, very classy. 8)

You've got me thinking: How about we get two made (both interior): The third one down which is big on the club name (and increase the size of the web address a bit) on transparent (ie white/red type on a clear background) and the last one - on a white background (more 'eighties' anyway), then punters can choose. They don't fight each other too, so one car could have both.

I'll get some quotes.

Will these new ones come with a promise NOT to jinx the BX to which they are affixed?

In a recent survey stickers (including bumper stickers) were found to only affect the way other people regard you (your car) on the road and not your car itself. If your car gets upset by having a sticker on it, the sticker cannot be blamed. (That last bit is not part of the survey findings  )

I've given up all hope of the general public having a positive impression of me from what I drive, stickers or no stickers...

I'd personally have a preference for white-on-clear with BXCLUB.CO.UK in big upper case (because that's the flag we're waving - right :-) ) and for Vive la différence to have an accent over the 'e'.

( fussy old sod... not really - but 2 out of 3 aint bad  )

Having given this a little thought I propose two sizes - a big BX CLUB in ya face jobbie and a rather more discreet one.

Both would be for interior windows.

We could go 'round the houses' a lot with these things, but if everyone's generally happy I'll sort something out. I don't expect to please all of the people etc..

If the BX CLUB UK type is appreciated*, I might suggest we modify the Forum header and front page accordingly. I will be happy to provide artwork.

*It is drawn to match the cut of the Citroen font as used in the contemporary logotypes. the font itself is not available (even though it's out of date now).

Excellent Phil, are you a graphic designer by trade? How about getting some "hoodies" made up with the BXclub logo on it so us oldies can "hang" with the yoof! 8)
