Ah, card sounds a good idea - and we've got loads of boxes left after moving! (yeah, still not tidied up yet...)

Not sure about the parcel shelf. Does have some advantages, but will make getting in/out quite tricky. Was planning on having heads to the front, but does the floor actually slope down towards the middle? Planning to drop the suspension so we don't suffer unexpected droppage in the night... (oo-er!)

Yeah, I suppose with two of you it could be a little awkward sliding underneath the shelf! Only ever spent one night in the BX 'two up' - that was whilst stuck in the mud up a French forest track during a heavy thunderstorm (don't ask  )

Well, I've had more comfortable nights, but it wasn't too bad really. Certainly felt better off than if we'd been in a tent. I do love the fact that with the raised roofline, there's just enough room to sit up without banging your head.

She's off. A mate of mine needs cheap wheels, and the BX is certainly that! I'll miss the ol' girl, but can remember some very happy times.

Wonder how long it'll be until I get another BX...

New owner has signed up within the last week, but his internet is very patchy at the mo.

The Green Tiger has now departed. Bit sad to see her go, but glad she's proving useful for the new owner already. I think she'll have clocked up another 400 miles by the end of today!

I know she's not mine anymore, but I'm still very happy to report that The Green Tiger has passed another MOT - just needed the rear tyres fitting that I'd supplied with the car anyway. Good times!

I saw the car parked up near Capstone Country Park in Chatham. That was a couple of months ago I suppose.

Pulled up and said hello to the car of course, but no owner present.

Green Tiger has now moved to Ramsgate. Just been chatting to Mistah G's girlfriend, who happens to be my best mate of many years. Apparently, the Green Tiger (or Bex as she's now known) has clocked up 172,000 miles now. That's 30,000 since I bought her almost exactly two years ago - she's apparently clocked up 9000 since I sold her in April!

Bit annoyed to discover that the Green Tiger has apparently got a duff alternator. Sounds like the bearings are knackered. Bit miffed as I fitted a brand new one when I owned it! I would have expected a bit more life than that.

EDIT - anyone in Kent got a spare alternator taking up space anywhere for very little dollar?
