It Lives

Post by richardd1652 »

After sitting in a garden for at least 8 years, with the help of a new battery, jumping off my car and liberal amounts of Easystart not only did it splutter into life but also pumped itself up!
Sadly it is destined for breaking as ive never seen such a rusty shell in a Bx in all my days.Huge holes in both rear inner wings and boot floor probably helped by it being rear ended whilst in use and repaired sort of.
Once ive got it back to the farm it will be available for you to come and pick its bones clean prior to the shell being carted off to the crusher. Its a 19TGD.
Had to get it running and hopefully up on its suspension as the trailer i borrow doesnt have a winch and is quite steep up the ramps so flat Citroens just bottom half way on.

That's what you might call 'green' motoring! A lot of people try to fake that sort of patina to get the rat-look..

Did you get your poor old dad to push it onto the trailer then Richard? :D

I'd be well interested in the Bosch injection kit off that if it's available, in order to divest myself of this blasted CAV pump! Beer token await!!!!! <pant><lust>
