Aagh the cam shaft on my TZD failed-broke in half!!!I am looking for a replacement engine or cylinder head -1.8 0r 1.9

What happened - cam belt jumped? I broke mine into three pieces in that manner. Can't you just replace the cam shaft or is everything bent?

There will certainly be at least two bent valves and maybe the camshaft bearing caps but second hand camshafts caps and valves are available at a number of breakers who know about the Citroen's appetite for such things.
I've rescued quite a few of these busted cambelt cases with second hand bits and new gaskets. Gibbo.

It's always worth just fitting another camshaft and belt, I've known at least 2 cases where the engine has survived with no other other damage.
Yes! the odds are against it, but it's worth a try when you have another camshaft to try.
