The Green Tiger spotted---

Post by oilman »

Saw The Green Tiger this morning, going well, about 08-30 on the M25 Junction 9 (Leatherhead).

I was in my 1972 Saab 95 Wagon and we did exchange cheery waves!

Ace. Green Tiger's living the Rock'n'roll lifestyle in the south as the new owner has been doing some gigs. Ideal gig-mobile!

I'm not sure 08.30 is very rock'n'roll! :D ( unless he'd been up all night and was about to pass out at the wheel a la Keith Richards and have a rendez-vous with the grass verge)

The Green Tiger owner is just on the phone at an internet radio station I listen to (he DJs on Sunday nights) and said he had a good waving session at someone in a 40 year old Saab. Sighting confirmed I guess! :)

Radio station is www.xrpradio.co.uk but isn't 24hrs.

Hi Oilman!

That is a lovely looking SAAB you have there :) Although, my (now ex) girlfriend who was travelling with me said she'd "make sure the boothandle was horizontal before driving anywhere, cos I'm anal like that"

I thought the stripes were meant to be a kind of camouflage so that NO-ONE would spot me.

Today had a total hydraulic fail in the middle of a junction in Rochester.. Hopefully Remy at Medway Citroen will be sorting me out. O/S rear strut seems to be the place where it's leaking... will keep you updated.

Cheers,

Glenn

Hope it's not too bad to sort. Feel quite bad that the car's thrown a major strop so soon after I sold it!

Don't feel bad Mr Wobbler... it's just cars mate. Luck of the draw.

I still love it.

Jolly good. It could be marking its new territory perhaps? It did split a return pipe just after I bought it, which left a lovely stain on our old driveway...
