I'm also interested in the correct answer to this question. I just end up sticking a triangular patch of insulating tape across the middle of the headlights with the thick end to the nearside. I don't seem to upset continental drivers, but the light available is significantly reduced.

FWIW, when I was driving across France, Italy and Sicily en route to Malta last year, I didn't put anything on the XM's headlights, which have had a HID conversion. No-one flashed, pulled me over or anything else. Stick-on things were readily available in the shop on the ferry however.

It is best to show willing. If it's visible to the Gendarmes at least they can't pull you for it.

From Citroen:
This is an A4 Sheet, so print it off full size and your template should fit. Use black or dark grey fablon, or match the coverage with black tape.

I put bend-beamers on the BX, but I seem to recall that they need to fit just about where the bend in the glass is near the bottom, and they fell off.

I have a set of LHD headlamps, takes less time to fit than tape!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

That's a useful diagram!

Last time I had a stick on set which had a huge list of instructions for different cars, every single production model ever it seemed, apart from the BX of course. I just whacked em on where they looked right. :)

That's great Guys... Thanks.

Phil... Your diagram is just what I need... I've already printed it and will get busy with the black tape :D

Glad I could help. BTW I have the same for ZX, XM and Xsara (H4 and H& lights) if anyone needs me to put them up on here.

OK, I meant the offside! The lenses give you a bit of a clue but Phil's templates do the job properly though. Cheers, mate!

PS - with due deference to the fact that Citroen is french, perhaps we should be careful about calling the right side of the road 'wrong'???
