You can see thats been polished up, I imagine it will go pink very soon again!

I think this is fair enough. After all the Green Hornet's done over 250k and my petrol GTi 221k, so if the price is right (and I mean under £600) why not?

Well...

Mine is a younger and has done 289000+, with engine number two (which is on about 180000). I want a prize now.

And it's not pink!

This looks pretty good really, and the seller has quite a lot of other stuff listed Citroen-wise, quite genuine sounding.

I always seem to end up with red ones and its my least favoured colour on BX,s,however white is on my list of good "solid" colours as i think they look really fresh although silver/greys metalics and of course black are at the top of my list.
Doesnt put me off buying a car whatever the colour tbh

Talking about high mileages I sold a Nissan 200L diesel to a taxi guy just before I sold my garage business in 1988, I bumped into him recently and he's still running it with over a million miles on the clock and on the original engine.

He says it's never been stripped just regularly serviced with good quality oils, the only problem has been the body rust, it does look a bit grotty now.

That's the one at Hill's garage I believe. If it is themselves that have maintained it then good as they are a family business (father and son) and long established. They've done nearly all of the work on my 14 and I couldn't fault them (though not cheap!).

I have seen this car and I may well have bought it if I'd had the money.

Looks like a lovely well looked after car with the only fault being it's colour.
